About Us
FurBabies is a small salon with combined grooming experience of over 40 years serving Princeton, Bettendorf, Clinton, Geneseo, Davenport, DeWitt and surrounding areas since 2015. We believe every pet should have a positive grooming experience with positive reinforcement. This is our #1 tool in giving them a peaceful, spa-like experience. FurBabies is veterinary referred, licensed, insured, and given excellent scores by the state department of Agriculture inspectors. Our Services include:
- We customize every groom to suit the needs of our clients
- Full groom: bath, condition, blowout, anal gland expression, nails, full body clip, teeth brushing and scissor finish.
- A La Carte Options Include:
- Bath, brush, touch-up and nails
- Original Blueberry Facial Included in Every Grooming
- We are licensed through the Department of Agriculture; this requires all of our dogs that we groom to have current proof of vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper and Parvo). The vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian and the client must provide a copy of vaccines prior to or at drop off during the appointment.
- In addition, we do not accept appointments by text messaging or email. You must call the salon to inquire or book an appointment. All pricing is based upon regular pre-booked grooming maintenance: 3 wks, 6 wks, or 8wks upkeep is recommended which will be determined by owner and groomer.
- We do require all animals be leashed when coming in.
- LATE PICKUP FEES $10: All dogs are required to be picked up within a half an hour after their grooming appointment and the owner has been notified. If not, the late fee will be applied at the one hour mark and every half an hour after, this is do to limited kennel space.
- Available by Appointment Tuesday-Saturday.

FurBabies is the best for my anxious dog! They are always so kind and patient with him and do their best to make the experience as quick and painless as possible. What I really love is that they keep the kennels in plain sight, so they can always watch the dogs. My dog likes to know what is going on, and at other salons, I could hear him barking when I pulled up because the kennels were in the back. Those places also took 4+ hours to groom him, so it made me worry how long he was barking! At FurBabies, he is always calmly laying in his kennel when I come back. FurBabies doesn't double book and I feel so much more comfortable leaving my baby in their hands!

Love love love this place! It was a calm environment when we arrived and they answered all my questions without rushing me out the door . They took their time with Simba and he was in a great mood when I picked him up . I will definitely come back if we are in the daven port area. If you are looking for A groomer with compassion and patience THIS is the place.
